Glowing orange goop that turns you into a zombie and has a combined will of its own.
Monster that uses your corpse as a puppet to lure in others and kill them as well.
Parasites that make your dead body walk around, but if your body gets too damaged, spider legs sprout out and start skittering around.
Bees that make you into a still-living beehive who can’t even understand what’s been done to you.
Honorable mention: the mimics aren’t actually puppeteering the harmless little grubs. They just shapeshift to look like the grubs, then deform and attack you when you get too close.
