Still playing Triangle Strategy. I’ve already been spoiled on an incredibly hard requirement for the good ending. Having failed it, I grasp the tines of Morton’s Fork.
The enemy wants you to hand over the prince, or they’ll attack in overwhelming force. Agree, and they have leverage, and you’re screwed. Refuse, take heavy losses, and don’t find allies, and you now lack manpower, and you’re screwed. Refuse, take heavy losses, and ally with the spineless bastard who sat the war out until now, and he betrays you, and you’re screwed. I assume that if you don’t use the fire traps, you can fend off the invaders with minimal losses, but that’s Really Freaking Hard.
