I’ve been reading about Sucker for Love, and forget D; I want Ln'eta’s side of the story! From her POV, she’s having a lucid dream, and it’s been a fun one, but it’s time to wake up. Then one of the characters within the dream tries to seduce her, and he seems bizarrely real for a figment of her imagination. Except he’s not even asking for her to keep the dream going and let his existence continue. He just wants one kiss before she wakes.

In one route, he ultimately turns against her, trying to trap her in the dream forever. In another route, she voluntarily sleeps for eternity, but he refuses to accept this and forces her to wake up, because she deserves better than to have to waste her whole life dreaming. It’s like a parable on fantasy and obsession, except the obsession is with the world we currently live in.

PS: Is it just me, or does the option to have D rip his own face off sound way more intense than everything else in this game?
